Crab & Spicy Shrimp Soba Bowl

Ok this is less of a disaster than normal.

The leafy salad makes for a nice bed on which to place the primary elements of this meal.

Every time I have a meal where an EAT Club chef has used sesame seeds as a garnish, I think: “I should bring some garnishes in for my plating.” I then promptly forget about doing so for another month.

The proteins are pretty much “as you find them” aside from the spicy shrimp, of which I used only a small amount.

Taking the julienned carrot out of the salad gave me some more tools to play with when plating the soba noodles, although I’m not sure using them did anything for the crab.

Looking at this photo now, I’m marginally less embarrassed of my performance in this challenge series.
