Dim Sum Style-Braised Spare Ribs

I really love the red colour you get from peppers that have been nicely roasted, so I figured I'd make a sort of starburst with them - mostly to try and disguise the fact that the meat loked a little dry.

I'm not sure I really improved on this dish too much. The peppers and rice are kind of imprecise and, while I think the overall effect is kind of like a matisse painting, it's falls down on my main goals. Perhaps I could have done something more structural with the peppers? They were rough cut but there was nothing stopping me from cutting them further.
