Mongolian Beef
A new dish! Yaay!
One of the takeaways from advice I received is that rice is too boring to plate, but I'm not sure it could have made my plating that much worse.
The beef and chillis had great colours to play with, but I don't think I did anything great with it. In fact, I accidentally hid it behind the lotus root.
Yeaaaaaaaah.
Ok. I'm getting better at stacking stuff - but these taro slices were pretty ideal for that purpose, being rigid and thin. The 2-by-4 of Veg.
I really don't feel I did this dish any justice. I'll just have to wait for it to come around on the menu again, and make ammends.
