Lots of veggies, some grain and a dollop of hummus. Seems like a straightforward challenge.

After staring at the food for some time, and unnerving my coworkers (or just George, really) I set about constructing a celtic-like weave of veg in a circle. I'm actually pretty happy with that part of the dish.

I then apparently decided to just dollop the hummus in the middle? I guess that was always my intention? Ugh. It's not great.

Then I'm left with the grain, which I have no good ideas for - perhaps I should have used it sparing like a little rain of sprinkles onto a taller hummus construct, but then again, hummus is a bit like Gelato. In my opinion: if it's standing up for any reason, it's probably not real hummus.

Finally it's time for a nice bread arrangement. I'm actually super happy with that. Forget all the rest and just rate me on my bread placement skills please.

Maybe the bread should have sat in a small puddle of hummus instead?

Ah well, another day, another meal!
